You cannot beat this receiver for performance and features at this price point. This is THE receiver to use with a Taranis transmitter and a Naze32 or Mullet flight controller due to the incredibly simple telemetry integration - 3 wires to the FC, and you will be able to read RSSI/signal strength, battery voltage, (with a full Naze/Mullet) altitude, and (with a GPS attached) GPS coordinates. 8-channel CPPM is available for all channels available to the flight controller over one set of wires (one standard 3-connector servo lead).

The D4R-II also supports analog and digital FrSky telemetry modules for use in traditional (flight controller-less) applications. Use of an optional FailSafe setting will allow for hovering or soft landings in case of signal loss.

Units sold by ZwissTech are now shipping with the 27ms firmware factory flashed for greater reliability with 6-8 channel CPPM. These units can still be used in PWM mode just like the previous firmware.
